[And as promised, Edgeworth soon shows up himself, laden with a smart leather briefcase and actually in a full-fledged suit for a change. His one concession to meeting Nyx is that he's removed his cravat, but other than that he's decidedly more buttoned up than he usually is — coat, waistcoat, button-down Oxford, and trousers with glossy-shined shoes peeping out beneath.

It doesn't take long for him to survey the bar and spot Nyx, though once he sees him, he...definitely pretends to still be looking a little longer than necessary, just for the sake of admiring. Good heavens, the man always looks incredible no matter what he wears. It's rather unfair, or would be if Edgeworth minded the opportunity to indulge the eye candy a little, which he doesn't.

After a perfectly-timed interval, though, he lifts his chin in an "aha" sort of nod, like he's just spotted him, and then comes strolling over, friendly in expression and all business in his walk.]

Ah, there you are. I missed you at first in the low light — my apologies.

[ Nyx doesn't have any reason to suspect Edgeworth of lingering longer than necessary. It takes him a moment to spot the man as well - he's more buttoned up than Nyx has had the pleasure of seeing him so far - and his eyes light up with delight when Edgeworth moves towards him.

The business walk is one that he's familiar with, and it's a treat to see Miles pull it off. ]

No apology necessary - you found me in the end.

[ He gives a cheeky little grin to Miles all the same before he straightens up a bit and waves him towards the door. The bar is a nice one, but not so nice that a reservation's required or it's impossible to find seating. Without meaning to, it's a good mix of relaxed and classy.

Which, of course, means it's the kind of place Nyx might be ill at ease in if he hadn't visited it before. ]

[That was...actually a smoother move than Edgeworth probably intended it to be, but it's not as though the actual tactic is at all unfamiliar to him. Assume facts most favorable to your position and run with them until someone else tries to prevent you — now there's a good old staple lawyer tactic.

Besides, if Nyx doesn't protest, then he'll have as good as secured another date in the future. Which would be nice. So. Yeah.]
