I've heard worse. He's a small business owner, actually. I did the paperwork for it when he was getting it off the ground, back when the Courthouse was still being recalcitrant about hiring on Gembonded prosecutors.

Looking back, he was a great landlord... if you could even call him that.

If anything, he's probably spoiled me a bit too much.
He's a bit gruff around the edges, but he's always been a gentleman where it counts.

Ah, well. I think that's more his decision than mine, frankly. But I have no desire to make your life harder, so it's not as though I'd go out of my way to be antagonistic.

Perfectly sufficient, I'd say. The sheer amount of material I have to study up on if I want to be up for a job can feel a bit overwhelming, but I'll be ready.

He's always had such a mature (read: old) air that he in his twenties is nearly indistinguishable from him in his thirties. Sometimes, she has to really examine the lines around his face to be sure.

Setting aside the absurdity of the notion that I would ever wind up the guardian of what I can only presume is a young girl, I have to wonder what in the world could possibly possess a young girl to want to spend her time around me.
